Powerful business headshots for Amelia Adkins, E-commerce business CEO.

Amelia came to me with a simple brief: ‘Can we do sexy Dragon’s Den vibes so that command respect?’

Well you can imagine my reaction to that. I’m not sure I’ve ever said ‘sign me up’ quite so fast.

Amelia is a business powerhouse that owns two successful e-commerce businesses. Her knowledge in the business is incredible and she wanted a professional set of images to feel confident in handing them over for PR opportunities and having them in presentations and at awards events.

We met on a Tuesday afternoon for a cheeky coffee and a bit of a chat and waited for the incessant rain to stop. Because this is England and no matter how hard I try I can’t control the weather. But this did mean we grabbed a couple of indoor shots too which work really nicely to compliment the full set!

After the rain we had the dreamiest light reward us and reflect off the high rise offices at Croxley Business Park. I find it’s a really lovely place to shoot with greenery, lakes, office space and a cafe all with great light and plenty of space.

Amelia really took the brief and ran with it. Her outfit choice really commanded the look she wanted to convey and we worked together to create a variety of poses that felt really put across her message. But most of all we just had fun, laughed together and got creative.

When you show up to your shoot ready to have a good time, you bring energy and you are very clear on the purpose you have for getting your photo taken it is the winning combination to get the perfect shots for your business.

I LOVED this shoot and I can’t wait to spend 2025 shooting more epic concepts for cool business owners!

Here’s what she had to say about the shoot (for reference TWC is a networking group I’m part of!):
